Usage

The {{undated}} template is used to label undated comments in a conversation. However, dating of comments is not required except when using auto-archiving bots.

All parameters

{{subst:undated|date}}

Date
Datestamp for comment

Time and date of undated comments can be found on the history page.

Timezone adjustment

Note that talk page times should always be in UTC. If timezone offset in your preferences is not 00:00, you'll have to adjust the time taken from history page to UTC. For example:

If this is too difficult to figure out, or you are in a hurry, then leave out the time, and only put in the date.

If you frequently use this template, or otherwise refer to UTC, you could consider setting your local time in the preferences to UTC.

Examples

With time

Typing {{subst:undated|01:55, 26 August 模板:LASTYEAR (UTC)}} will yield:

— Preceding undated comment added 01:55, 26 August 模板:LASTYEAR (UTC)

Without time

Typing {{subst:undated|26 August 模板:LASTYEAR}} will yield:

— Preceding undated comment added 26 August 模板:LASTYEAR (UTC)

Notes

The template is mostly used by SineBot.
